The starting season of the Call of Duty League (CDL) is about to finish. The Modern Warfare season is ending in the 2020 CDL Championship, and for the first time, all 12 franchise teams will be battling it out in the same tournament. This is the first season of the geo-located franchised league and due to the current world Pandemic has been changed to an Online format. Atlanta FaZe is leading the standings of the regular season with 280 CDL Points, followed closely by Dallas Empire with 260 CDL Points. At 230 CDL Points are both Florida Mutineers and Chicago Huntsmen. New York Subliners stand at 5th position with 140 CDL Points and London Royal Ravens, Toronto Ultra, and Minnesota RØKKR follow with 120 CDL Points. They will play in the Winners Bracket. The top four teams have been awarded byes for the first round.
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, Paris Legion, Seattle Surge, and Los Angeles Guerrillas will be playing they Elimination Bracket. A lost match in this bracket means they will be out of the tournament.
